Rachel made ceviche at home, Blondie and Brownie are excited for The Food Film Festival and Pig Island among other fall food events, Brian’s hot dog tour took him to the original Nathan’s Famous and I photographed a Japanese knife forging demo at Smorgasburg.

Brian’s hot dog survey led him to Mile End, Blondie took a beach day and visited Rockaway Taco, Brownie tested recipes for watermelon agua fresca, Rachel had her mom’s hummus and I photographed Midnight Brunch at Nitehawk Cinema.

Blondie is out in flyover country with the cows, Brownie is on the hunt for pickled mustard greens, Brian tried the red wattle pork chops at Roberta’s, Rachel had dumplings and I photographed the special Cook for the Cure edition of Midnight Brunch.

Brian got tongue tacos at Empellon Taqueria, Blondie hit the road to DC and Baltimore, Brownie checked out Monsieur Singh’s Lassi Pops, a new cart in Union Square, Donny photographed Celebrate Flatiron Chefs for Serious Eats, Rachel made Sunday brunch at home and I co-hosted the fourth Bed-Stuy Crawl.

Elsewhere in the ML universe… In Los Angeles, Zach took his life into his hands by eating the monstrosity above, Jamie gorged on cheese covered chorizo, bacon and mushrooms at Plaza Garibaldi in Philly and Andrea hit the fro-yo bar at Duane Reade downtown.

Rachel escaped the heat with some cold soba, Brian checked out new style smoked fish, Donny stopped by Lonestar Taco’s booth at New Amsterdam Market, Chris was unimpressed by Kristalbelli’s fancy Korean Barbecue, Blondie insisted that you need to eat at Talde, Brownie tried out the 99 cent ice cream truck and I recapped my birthday dinner at Montreal’s Joe Beef.

Elsewhere in the ML universe… In Los Angeles, Zach listed some sandwiches worth breaking the $10 mark for – along with some that aren’t, in Philly, Jamie had beer with lunch, and Downtown, Andrea tried out a new Greek cart with tasty sweets.

Brian’s hunt for the best hot dogs in town took him to Bark in Brooklyn, Donny wasn’t impressed by the food at Brooklyn Crab, Rachel enjoyed her Saturday ritual of bagels and lox, Blondie gave the pizza at Artichoke another try, Brownie continued recipe testing for New York A La Cart and I recapped my dinner at Montreal’s Au Pied de Cochon.

Elsewhere in the ML universe… Zach tracked down six soup-free noodles in Los Angeles, Jamie had bulgogi kimchi cheese fries in Philly and Andrea snacked on Tamales down by the Brooklyn Bridge.

Brian ventured to The Bronx to try the pastrami and corned beef at Liebman’s Deli, Rachel surveyed her recent sandwiches from ‘Wichcraft, Donny had the pork chop special at Uncle Gussy’s, Blondie had a Big Gay Root Beer Float, Brownie is making cakes based on T-Shirts from Threadless and my photos are in a feature in the latest issue of Edible Brooklyn.

This week, Brian began his search for New York’s best hot dogs, Donny checked out the noodle counter at No Name Bar in Greenpoint and Rachel had brunch at Cafe Mogador. Meanwhile Blondie and Brownie were researching for their upcoming book “New York ala Cart” by learning about the roast strawberry gelato in Washington Square Park and testing recipes for the Korean BBQ Nachos from Kimchi Taco Truck’s and I spent the weekend eating my way through Montreal.

Elsewhere in the ML Universe… Andrea gets a first look at a patriotic new slider cart downtown, In Los Angeles, Zach found the secret to getting great Thai food in West Hollywood and in Philadelphia, guest blogger Zoe ate mounds of roast beef on a sandwich and fries.

Donny’s Foodaissance project took him into the bakery at Roberta’s, Brian had Malaysian pork jerky in Chinatown, Rachel cooked zucchini bites at home, Blondie reflected on her year in the NYU Food Studies program, Brownie tested the recipe for Big D’s Corncakes and I co-hosted the third Bed-Stuy Crawl.
