GoGo Grill Cart Pops Up At Bowling Green

gogo grill cart

Bowling Green has a new cart to check out serving sandwiches and burgers. Lunch’er Daniel snapped a picture and wrote in to tell us that workers at the cart said they plan to park daily in front of the National Museum of the American Indian at 1 Bowling Green.

The menu offers falafel sandwiches or salads, a burger, grilled cheese and a few other items, Daniel reports. If any of you have eaten here, let us know your impressions in the comments!

First Look: Aroy Dee Is Your Hip, Quick, Thai Option In The FiDi

Aroy Dee Thai Kitchen opened in a hurry, bringing us a mix of steam table thai and some made to order dishes. The restaurant took over the space on John St. formerly occupied by It’s A Pizza, and we’ve gotten a solid thumbs up for the food. While this is all worrisome, I have come bearing a little bit of good news.

Healthy Food Invasion Of The FiDi Continues With Terri

The stretch of Pearl St. between Maiden Lane and Pine has become quite the magnet for new lunch spots since hurricane Sandy left many of the existing options shuttered for weeks or months. A new one that’s popped up is Terri. When I saw the sign a week or two ago, I didn’t post about it because frankly it looked like a ladies clothing boutique based solely on the signage.

Need One Last Seafood Lunch For Lent? Try Sophie’s Fried Fish + Crack Sauce

The pernil and other meaty products from Sophie’s Cuban (Multiple Locations) get most of the attention, but they also offer a few seafood options on their daily menu, and a couple of special dishes on Fridays. If you want to get lunch for less than $10, the fried fish special will not only fill you up, but it’s pretty good if you make one important addition.
