Are You A Vegan Who’s Always Wanted To Taste A McRib? Terri Has A Sandwich For You

Sometimes a lunch that I warily buy takes a turn for the delicious. That was the case when I randomly stopped by Terri on Pearl St. (btw. Maiden Ln and Cedar) and happened to see they had a new sandwich on the menu. First Look: Terri’s Faux Meat Sandwiches Aren’t All Bad

Quick service vegetarian restaurants seem to go one of two ways selling falafel or sandwiches and wraps stuffed with roughage and fake meats. Terri on Pearl St. (at Maiden Lane) took the latter route with its vegan and kosher menu, also offering juices and baked goods. I’m all for these places if the food is good and not overpriced as it so often is. One good example, and a similar concept to Terri, is ‘sNice which has an outpost in Soho. I’d had a pretty good meatless Thanksgiving sandwich there, and I was curious how the version at Terri was despite my slight aversion to Tofurkey.  Read more »

The second NYC location of the all organic, vegetarian restaurant named Terri has opened on Pearl St. (btw. Pine & Maiden Lane). You can get most of the details here and expect a review soon, just in time for swimsuit season!

Healthy Food Invasion Of The FiDi Continues With Terri

The stretch of Pearl St. between Maiden Lane and Pine has become quite the magnet for new lunch spots since hurricane Sandy left many of the existing options shuttered for weeks or months. A new one that’s popped up is Terri. When I saw the sign a week or two ago, I didn’t post about it because frankly it looked like a ladies clothing boutique based solely on the signage.
