Peter Bjorn & John Want To Give You Free Wafels: The band Peter Bjorn & John are in town today, and will be giving away free waffles as part of their "All You Can Eat" Tour. Starting at 12:30pm, the first 35 people who hit up the Wafels & Dinges truck on 52nd btw. 6+7th and say "Gimme some waffles" score a free WMD. [via Eater]

Free Cupcake Alert: We don't know nothing about Fashion Week, but we'll take some after work free cupcakes! Tonight at 6pm the Cupcake Stop Truck will be in front of the Guess Store on 5th Ave. and 47th Street handing out hundreds of free cupcakes for Fashion's Night Out. Freeloaders, prepare to engage.

Free Sandwich Alert: Just got word that Earl of Sandwich (on 52nd btw. 5+6th) is open right now and giving free sandwiches. It's a complete mad house (naturally), and we're not sure how long it's going to last, but if you work in the area and haven't had lunch yet, it might be worth stopping by.

Sweetery Handing Thousands of Freebies Today: Today, Sweetery has two trucks handing out thousands of free goodies around town courtesy of The Weather Channel. Truck #1 is scheduled to be on 7th & 53rd until 9:30am before moving on to 3 other spots in Midtown. Truck #2 plants to be at 42nd near Times Sq at 10:30, and then on 50th btw 6+7th at 2:30. Those of you who work around 53rd and 6th Ave. might have noticed this truck setting up shop today for some event… it’s actually the Bistro Truck, repurposed for a week long promotion to spread the word about turkey. They’ll be giving out free turkey burgers every day this week starting tomorrow, but won’t be in Midtown until Friday (on 52nd and Park). We can’t say we love turkey, but we love free stuff and the Bistro Truck can make anything taste delicious! As for today’s craziness? We were told it was a media only preview event… but who knows? Maybe they’ll start giving stuff away to slackjawed passerbys…

Today is National Holiday in Belgium, and to celebrate Wafels & Dinges will be giving out free tastings of their newest ice cream flavor, Belgian Madness. The ice cream is made with honey, lemon and Hoegaarden beer and while they’ve been serving it for a few weeks now, today is the official launch day. Plus between Noon and 1pm you can get a free cone of the stuff (or you can get it as a gratis topping on a waffle) at all their carts and trucks. The truck should be parked on 46th between 5th and 6th (if they don’t get shooed by the cops like last week) and they have a cart on 40th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. E & E Grill Offering Free Coffee This Morning: E&E Grill House, the new steak place on 49th btw. B'way+8th, is launching their new grab and go coffee program this morning and to celebrate they're giving away free cups of Barrington Roasters coffee to their first 1,000 customers before 10am all day long. They're not open for lunch yet, and we're doubtful their lunch menu will be in the ML price range, but we'll take some free coffee! Freeloaders engage.

Free Thai Iced Tea Alert: Now through the end of July anybody who buys a bundle- that's one main and one side- from Dee Daa Balanced Thai (on 44th btw Lex+3rd) will receive a free iced tea of their choice. Choices include Rosella, Lemongrass, Bael Fruit and traditional Thai Iced Tea.
