$25 And Under Ramen: Today's New York Times has a review of both Hide Chan and Totto Ramen.  The writer wasn't as excited about either as us or Serious Eats ("Neither spot has nearly the brilliance of Ippudo... or the breadth of other Midtown ramen shops like Menchanko-Tei") but she did have good things to say about Totto's chicken paitan and Hide Chan's black ramen.

Uncle Gussy’s is Off Today: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Eddie's Pizza is on 52nd, Schnitzel & Things is on 46th, Street Sweets is on 55th and 56th with free stuff, Mexicue is on 40th, Korilla is on 55th, Wafels & Dinges is on 52nd, Frites N Meats is on 52nd, and it's Tri Tip Tuesday, but Uncle Gussy's is getting their inspection today and won't be out.

Korilla’s First Day Was Cold, But Promising: Didn't make it out for Korilla BBQ's first day of service? Midtown Lunch'ers have got you covered in the comments. The consensus? The food was cold, and could have been spicier, but the portions were large and overall the truck shows a ton of promise. Our man Chris was there, and will have plenty of food porn for you tomorrow morning.

Steak Truck, Mexicue & Free Malaysian: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Steak Truck is back on 47th and Park, Mexicue is on 55th, Frites N Meats is on 52nd, the Wafels and Dinges cart is on 60th, NYC Cravings is on 50th, Cupcake Stop is on 52nd, La Cense is on 47th with new sandwiches, and the Malaysia Kitchen Truck is on 52nd giving away free samples from Cafe Asean.

And… We’re Back: As you might have noticed, or not, ML was on hiatus on Friday (and by hiatus I mean a total and complete meltdown!)  We're back up and running now, so there's no reason to be mad.  (If anything you should thank us... you probably got a lot more work done on Friday.)  Sadly we did lose some comments and forum posts, so if you notice things that you posted are missing we're sincerely sorry. Also if you signed up for an account at any point during the past week, it is possible you might have to re-register.

Tri Tip is Great, Xie Xie is Gone: The New York Times has discovered something that we've known for awhile... Tri Tip Grill, in the Rock Center Concourse, is kind of awesome!  Also in yesterday's paper, buried in FloFab's Off the Menu column, Xie Xie (on 9th Ave.) isn't temporarily closed.  It's closed closed, along with its neighbor Zanzibar.
