New Burger Truck?!?: The Feed Blog is reporting that La Cense, a Montana Ranch known for their beef,  will be opening a burger truck in Midtown next week.  Not too much is known as of yet, except that it's endorsed by Adam Perry Lang- chef/owner of Daisy May's.  Interested in following the truck?  Surprise surprise!  They have a twitter account.

Counterfeit Black Label?: As if it wasn't hard enough keeping track of the difference between the real "black label" burger at Minetta Tavern, and the burger being served at City Burger (on 39th & B'way).  Now The Feedbag is reporting that City Lobster (on 49th btw. 6+7th) might be serving a counterfeit black label burger of their own.

Pampano Taqueria Reopened Yesterday: In case you missed it, this comment was made yesterday on the post about Pampano Taqueria being closed due to emergency plumbing issues: "Pampano re-opened today. Hurray Tacos!"

Kogi BBQ Truck Still Planning on NYC: Kogi BBQ, the L.A. based korean taco truck that I have a small obsession with, is still insisting that NYC is the next stop in their expansion plans. Don't want to wait? (Or travel to L.A.)  They'll be at the Citymeals-on-Wheels street food gala on Monday night.  You still have one more day to enter to win tickets.

Osteria del Circo’s Gelato Cart Opens for the Summer: Peter Cherches is reporting that Osteria del Circo's gelato cart is back (on 55th btw. 6+7th.) According to him the restaurant is no good, but they have "the best gelato I've had outside of Italy or Switzerland." That's good to know.

More on the New Street Sweets Truck: More info on the brand new dessert truck that debuted in Midtown yesterday (on 55th just East of 6th Ave.):  Blondie and Brownie sampled their strawberry filled croissant, and Dessert Buzz reports that they are open this morning.

Free Iced Coffee Wednesday/Free Doughnut Friday: Two free food alerts for you. Tomorrow (Weds 6/2) you can get free Iced Coffee at all participating Au Bon Pain locations after 2pm. Then, on Friday, in honor of National Doughnut Day (who knew?) participating Dunkin Donuts locations will be giving away free doughnuts (with any drink purchase.) Enjoy!
