A Waterfront Nick Elmi Experience at Morgan’s Pier

Morgan’s Pier has been doing a stellar job at bringing in new chefs each year to take over their kitchen. This year, Top Chef Winner Nicholas Elmi orchestrated a menu fit for waterfront dining.  If you can’t score a reservation at Laurel- sitting outside, facing the river while dining from Elmi’s casual menu is not a bad Plan B.

Moe’s Hot Dog House Puts All the Things On or Around Your Hot Dog

The signs for hot dogs, fish cake, and cheesesteaks suggest an authentically simply joint for Philly staples and I kept telling myself I had to get in there and see what it was all about. After several late afternoon attempts, I was told it now closes at 1:30  (though the website says 3) and made sure to get in for an earlier lunch.
