Lex+Park and is giving out free soup all week long to those who mention twitter, Streets Sweets is on 53rd btw. 5+6th, and Cupcake Stop is on 47th and 3rd with a brand new flavor: German Chocolate Cake.

Twitter Tracker: On the ML Twitter Tracker this morning: Burger Joint is offering a late lunch special all week, Schnitzel Truck & Cupcake Stop Truck are in Midtown today, and Wafels and Dinges is giving away free dinges all day long on 5th and 23rd (plus free wafels from 11:30 to 12:30pm).

Taiwanese Fried Chicken is Back?: After missing two Midtown days in the shop the NYC Cravings Truck is back, and to make up for it they are attempting to park on 48th & 6th. Awhile back Jiannetto's tried parking on that block, and lasted a day or two before being chased away by building security. You might want to follow their Twitter before heading out.

Schnitzel & Things Joins NYC Cravings in the Shop: A quick look at the ML Twitter Tracker uncovered this news today: The Cupcake Stop Truck will be coming to Midtown this afternoon, but the NYC Cravings Truck and the Schnitzel and Things Truck are both in the shop.

Remember the good old days (aka one month ago), when the Burger Joint used their twitter account to give us deals to the Burger Joint? Well this week they’ve decided to offer a discount at a place you might not have known about (I certainly didn’t.) Mention “Twitter Lunch” at the Knave, a little coffee and sandwich spot that opened last year in the Parker Meridien Hotel, and get 50% off any of their sandwiches (regularly priced at $8). They have three options (Parma Ham and Stracchino Cheese, Smoked Chicken with Pesto Sauce, and Smoked Salmon with Fresh Herbs) and the deal is good all week long (8/17-8/21) from 11:30am to 3pm. The Knave can be found in the passageway between the 57th Street entrance to the hotel, and the lobby. Fancy pants sandwiches for $4? I might have to check this out at some point this week. (Oh, and even though The Knave doesn’t normally do take out, the sandwich deal will be available to go.)

No Taiwanese Fried Chicken For You Today: The NYC Cravings Truck was named one of the 10 best food trucks in the country by GQ! They usually spend Fridays on 53rd btw. Park+Lex, but sadly their truck is in the shop and won't be open today. To make up for it, they said they will come back in that spot on Wednesday.
