Free Pizza Alert: Two Boots will celebrate the launch of its new grandma style pie by giving away free slices at all of its locations at different times today. The Hell's Kitchen location (on 9th Ave.) will have free slices from 3-4pm, the Grand Central location from 4-5pm. [via I Dream of Pizza]

Free BBQ Alert: The argument over whether Virgil's is decent or terrible has never been officially decided here on ML, but what about free Virgil's? Tomorrow (Tuesday, 6/22) a truck promoting some new TV show on TNT will be parked in Columbus Circle from 11am to 3pm handing out free servings of Memphis BBQ from Virgil's. Go forth freeloaders...

Free Waffle Alert (w/ a Side of Backward Sunglasses): Next Thursday (6/17), Guy Fieri will be in Herald Square (on 34th and 6th) handing out free waffles from 6am to Noon, and the first 50 people who print this invite out, and bring it to the table, will get a free goodie back. [via Eater]

Just a friendly reminder… today’s the day Eddie’s Pizza Truck is finally ready to serve pizza to the hungry masses! I have been highly anticipating this truck for the past few months, maybe it’s my Long Island pride coming through, so I couldn’t wait for the first day of lunch to try their pie. Instead I braved the cold, rain, and street puddles last night to stop by their opening party in Union Square.

BOGO Lunch at Vander Bar: Don't know how we missed this one... Vander Bar, in the Roosevelt Hotel (on 45th btw. Vanderbilt+Madison), has a new lunch menu and from now until June 30th it's buy one item, get one item free if you print out this coupon. It'd be crazy not to try it! [TONY via The Skint]

All this week the Bahamas tourism board will have a truck parked in New York City handing out free food to promote the Bahamas. Yesterday they were parked on 48th btw. 7+8th handing out mac & cheese, Junkanoo drumsticks and virgin Bahama Mamas. Today’s location hasn’t been posted on their twitter account yet, but as soon as it is we’ll post it here. Freeloaders, prepare to engage… UPDATE: Booooooooooo! They’re downtown today (although apparently they will be moving around throughout the day.) Hopefully Midtown will be in their plans again before the end of the week…

Tomorrow is National Doughnut Day, and Dunkin Donuts is celebrating by giving away a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage. Midtown chains don’t have a great track record with promotions like this- but we called the Rock Center Dunkin Donuts and they’re in (although last year they ran out of doughnuts just after 10am!) Don’t want buy a drink (or take the chance that your DD isn’t particpating?) Krispy Kreme will just give you the free doughnut no strings attached and according to this [PDF], the location in Penn Station is participating. Doughnut loving freeloaders, prepare to engage.

Free Prosciutto Ball Alert: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Wafels and Rickshaw are on 52nd, Frites N Meats is on 48th, and Schnitzel & Things will be on 46th btw 5th & 6th starting at 11:30 with 100 free prosciutto and cheese balls. Freeloaders engage!

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of New York Super Fudge Chunk, Ben & Jerry’s is launching an ice cream truck that will spend the next six weeks handing out free ice cream all over New York. According to their website the truck will launch on Monday, and if Grub Street is to be believed it will be in front of Moma (although they have the launch date listed as the 28th.) The truck will also be doing “office invasions” and is taking requests via their twitter feed. Freeloaders, prepare to engage.
