Free Doughnut Alert
Tomorrow is National Doughnut Day, and Dunkin Donuts is celebrating by giving away a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage. Midtown chains don’t have a great track record with promotions like this- but we called the Rock Center Dunkin Donuts and they’re in (although last year they ran out of doughnuts just after 10am!) Don’t want buy a drink (or take the chance that your DD isn’t particpating?) Krispy Kreme will just give you the free doughnut no strings attached and according to this [PDF], the location in Penn Station is participating. Doughnut loving freeloaders, prepare to engage.

I skipped the doughnut when I was at DD getting iced coffee. Hey what can I say, I don’t like sugar, dammit that’s why I use Splenda!

It’s free also! You could have taken it, and given it to a co-worker. Or a random fat person on the street.
You could be diabetic. Or celiac. It would still be wrong to not take the free doughnut if you’re buying the drink anyway! :-)

It is not free at Dunkin Donuts. You must buy a drink. It is only free at krispy kreme and they have only one loc in new york city it is at pen station.

Be on the alert, some places are pulling a fast one and actually charging for the donut without the customer even knowing about it. a few co-workers reported this from a Dunkin Donuts.. heck, when they asked “isn’t it free?” They even had to get the manager involved to “double check”
this is interesting… very dangerous for my stomach.
