Free Kimchi Fried Rice Alert: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Wafels & Dinges is on 52nd btw 6+7th, Kimchi Truck is on 46th & 6th Lex, Cupcake Stop is on 37th and 7th, Schnitzel & Things is on 52nd and Lex, Comme Ci Comme Ca is on 38th & B'way, and the Taste of Korea truck will be on 43rd & 5th today giving out free kimchi fried rice.

Coolhaus Free This Weekend, Official Launch Imminent?: L.A.'s famous ice cream truck Coolhaus didn't launch on April 15th but they've teamed up with Firefox to give away ice cream sandwiches all weekend long. Today they're in Soho, tomorrow they'll be on 43rd and 6th, Sunday Union Sq., and Monday in on 24th & Madison (12-4pm each day). A lot of good that does us! But hopefully this means the truck will be launching soon.

File This Under “Who Knew?”: We've never been huge fans of the burgers from La Cense Burger Truck, but Serious Eats hit them up the other day and discovered that the truck is now serving philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and apparently they're delicious.

No 7 Sub Launching Delivery Tomorrow: According to Grub Street No 7 Sub (on B'way btw. 28+29th in the Ace Hotel) will begin offering delivery tomorrow. But before you get too excited, the delivery area only extends north to 34th street (23rd is the southern boundary, 7th Ave. to the West and Park Ave. to the East) and it's only available from 2-5pm with a minimum order of $25.

WSJ Recaps All the $1 Food Places Opening in Midtown: Speaking of $1 pizza, the WSJ blog has an article on their blog today about all the $1 food places opening recently. They talk to a bunch of spots you've probably seen here on ML, including Ray's Pizza (about their 75 cents slices), 2 Bros, 99 Cent Fresh, Pop's $1 Food Shop, and Kashmir Grill's $1 burger.

Bai Cha Being Replaced by Latin Food: Two weeks ago Life With Food and Drink brought us the news that Bai Cha on 9th Ave. had closed, and this week they find out that it's going to be replaced by OUT Latin Food (whatever that means.)

Ma Peche Serving Up an Eater Burger This Week: Eater's Burger Week is under way, and one of the special burgers they had created is here in Midtown. All this week Ma Peche (on 56th btw. 5+6th) will be serving an 8 oz chuck and short rib burger, topped with lemongrass-chili butter, pickled jalapeno and cabbage slaw, with a side of shrimp chips for $16. It's only served at lunch, and a bit out of our price range, but all profits go to Edible Schoolyard NYC.

Korilla BBQ Truck Number Two Coming Soon: Just got word that Korilla BBQ has plans to roll out a second truck in the next week or two. This means they will be able to expand their locations and hopefully park in Midtown more than just on Mondays and Thursdays. I wonder if this could also mean an expanded menu and shorter lines? We shall soon see!
