Real Cheap Eats NYC is Back with 50 New Additions: Back in July James Boo and friends launched a new collaboration called Real Cheap Eats NYC, a site featuring tasty dishes from the 5 boroughs, all under $10. Recently they came out with their Fall Edition, adding 50 new dishes to the list. Go and check out what our very own Chris H. recommends for Midtown and what our Downtown Lunch’s Andrea recommends for Downtown.

One Week Left Of Madison Square Eats: Yes, the weather is terrible today, but remember that you just have until next Friday before Madison Square Eats is done for the season. So, think about it, what's worse? Getting wet or waiting eight months until you can get Roberta's for lunch again?

Half Off Ranch 1: Seems like there's a new daily deal site every day!  Whatever... as long as they get us discounts to decent Midtown lunch spots, we'll bite.  Today Saveology (!?) is offering $8 worth of food for just $4 from the Ranch 1 on 3rd Ave. btw. 55+56th.  Ranch 1 isn't one of our marquee faves, but it's always been a solid option.

NY Post on Sandwiches: Today's Post has an article about all the new sandwich shops that opened in NYC over the past few months specifically catering to office workers, and naturally a bunch of our favorites made it in... including Num Pang, Earl of Sandwich, Potbelly and City Sandwich.  Which one is your favorite?

Rain Doesn’t Stop the Street Meat: Crisp on Wheels is on 51st btw. Park+Mad, Mexicue is on 52nd & 6th, Rickshaw Dumpling is on 50th & 6th, Kimchi Truck is on 47th & Lex, Bob & Jo are on Vanderbilt btw. 46+47th, Sweetery is on 50th btw. 6+7th, Wafels & Dinges has a cart on 40th & 8th, and Street Meat Palooza 4 winner Comme Ci Comme Ca is on 52nd & Park. But as always you'll want to check the ML Twitter Tracker before heading out.

City Council Looks to Ban Columbus Circle Vendors: According to Gothamist, the Upper West Side city council woman who suggested that food trucks all be outfitted with GPS tracking systems, is now turning her attention to Columbus Circle.  Apparently Taxi drivers have been complaining about the trucks and carts making it difficult for them to pick up fares in the ultra busy circle.  A bill was introduced last week that would ban vendors from the area, but the details have not been released.

Half Off Milk & Honey: It's been awhile since we mentioned Milk 'N Honey, the Kosher version of a typical Midtown deli on 45th btw. 5+6th.  If you're a fan you'll want to check out today's KGB Deals.  Get $15 worth of food from Milk 'N Honey for just $7.

It’s Shacktoberfest Time!: Shacktoberfest is back and Shake Shack Times Square is celebrating through this Sunday. In addition to the Currywurst, ShackMeister Marinated Cheddar Brats, and German Chocolate Cake concretes like in years past, word on the street is that this year they are serving up a Brat Burger (burger topped w/spilt & griddled Bratwurst & German-style slaw). Early adopters let us know your thoughts in the comments!

50% off at Grimaldi’s Flatiron: Here's a little extra Flatiron love for those of you who work south of 32nd street... we haven't been to the Grimaldi's at The Limelight since their preview back in January, but today's InBundles deal may be the incentive we need to finally check it out. You can get a $20 credit for $10, plenty for a large pie and drinks to share.

#occupymidtown: Schnitzel & Things is on 51st, Gorilla Cheese is on 55th & 6th, Bian Dang is on 53rd & Park, Crisp on Wheels and Bob & Jo are on Vanderbilt near 46th, Papa Perrone is on 55th btw. Mad+5th, Comme Ci Comme Ca is on 36th & B'way (although lines might be long today!), Wafels & Dinges is on 46th btw. 5+6th, Joyride is on 51st btw. Park+Mad, and Luke's Lobster is in Midtown but can't seem to find a spot... so you might want to check the ML Twitter Tracker before heading out.
