Best Seafood Dish: 2010 Reader’s Poll
It’s time for the 4th Annual Midtown Lunch Readers’ Poll. Your nominations are in, and between now and the end of the year we’ll be asking all of you to vote for the best Midtown Lunches in a whole range of categories. You can only vote once per category (so choose wisely), and official results will be posted after the new year.
A little over three years ago Esca chef (and Profiled Midtown Lunch’er) Dave Pasternack said there’s no such thing as cheap seafood… but with a $10 price limit we don’t really have the luxury of agreeing with him. Lucky for us there are actually some great seafood dishes available for lunch in Midtown! They might not be Esca quality, but they are still some of our faves. Here are the nominees for best seafood dishes in Midtown:
- Oyster Po’boy from Grand Central Oyster Bar
- Coconut Shrimp from Gourmet 53
- Fish Sandwich from Kim’s Aunt Kitchen
- Tilapia from Kwik Meal
- Octopus Salad from Margon
- Tianbula from NYC Cravings
- Cod Schnitzel from Schnitzel & Things
- Lobster Roll from Urban Lobster Shack
Vote for your favorite after the jump…
