Korilla Truck Update: Sadly the Korilla BBQ truck we told you about last month hasn't launched yet, but Thrillist did get a bit of updated menu info.  In addition to Korean tacos, burritos, sliders and bowls, there will also be six different kinds of kimchi, rotating specials (like bo ssam, and kalbi jim), and possibly Korean pizza (although that will be a late night thing).  [via Eater]

ML Forums: Cold Weather Lunches: Check out this pretty useful topic in the forums today: favorite cold weather food in Midtown. Our man Chris H. votes for the chicken paitan from Totto Ramen, and Cer Te's vegetarian chili.  What's your favorite>>

Lamb Chops, Burgers & Schnitz: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Rickshaw is on 40th, Wafels & Dinges Truck is on 47th, and the new Waffle carts are on 60th, Frites N Meats is on 52nd, Streets Sweets is on 46th, Schnitzel Truck is on 46th, and Uncle Gussy's is on 51st with pork chops as a special.  As always, make sure you check the TT before heading out.

Ying Du Hit by the DOH: Yesterday Lunch'er "mw" posted this bad news in the forums:  Ying Du (on 38th btw. 7+8th) has been closed by the Department of Health.  It's not the first (or second) time this has happened (and not exactly a shock), but we hope it gets cleared to open back up soon!  If you work near there, let us know in the comments when they open back up.

Onya in the NY Times: Not sure how we missed this one, but last week Onya (on 47th btw. Lex+3rd) was featured in the New York Times! Oliver Strand was impressed with the "craft" that goes into each bowl of fast food udon, and gives you a progression of dishes to order  from first visit to becoming a regular. (Spoiler: the bukkake udon is "challenging".)

50% off Meze Grill: I wasn't such a huge fan of Meze Grill (on 8th Ave. btw. 55+56th) when it opened back in August of last year, but we're hearing that they've improved things a lot since then. And with this email deal you can get $10 worth of food for just $5. I guess we can try it again...

Your First Look at Shacktoberfest: Just a friendly reminder in case you missed it on Friday... All this week Shake Shack is holding their annual Shacktoberfest, with beers, sausages, and Bavarian inspired concretes (see the complete menu here.) Serious Eats: New York was there on opening day, and filed this drool inducing report.

International Chinese Culinary Competition Finals Are Today: Just a heads up, the final round of in the International Chinese Culinary Competition are happening right now at 47th St between Broadway and 7th Ave, and will last until 8pm. Food is only for ticket holders, and the weather is horrid, but I guess it's kind of fun? The good folks at Serious Eats have a more in-depth look here.

We Won't Get Fooled Again!: Today's ML Twitter Tracker is filled with vendors who are braving the rain (almost as a F-You for needlessly scaring them away from working yesterday!) Rickshaw is on 45th, Treats Truck is on 45th, Schnitzel is on 52nd, Eggstravaganza is always out, Papa Perrone is on 55th, the W&D Truck is on 52nd, and their new cart (which we wrote about yesterday) is on 40th.
