NY Post Rejoices Over Little Morocco Theft: We're honored the New York Post trolls Midtown Lunch for stories, but a little puzzled at their angle on this one. Last week we reported that Little Morocco had their permit stolen, and the Post picked up on it in an interesting gleeful way- thanking the theft for shutting down one of the "fifth dirtiest [carts] in the city" based on "a Post analysis", whatever that means. Potbelly Rock Center to Open on Wednesday: If you're a fan of Potbelly, the Chicago sandwich chain that's been taking over NYC one store at a time over the past two months, you'll be excited for this news... the Rock Center location that we told you about back in March is supposed to finally open this Wednesday in the concourse.

Not All Trucks Have Given Up: Based on what's been going on lately you'll probably want to check the ML Twitter Tracker before heading out today, but as of now Korilla is planning to park on 46th & Vanderbilt, Luke's Lobster is on 53rd and Park,  Papa Perrone is on 55th and 5th, Gorilla Cheese is on 55th & 6th, and Wafels has a truck on 51st and a cart on 46th. Taim was at Bryant Park and Joyride was on 52nd, but both have already been kicked out.

Danji Gets One Star From Sifton: Danji, the modern Korean spot on 52nd btw. 8+9th, made quite the splash when they gave away their sliders for free on that Taste of Korea food truck, our man Chris H. is a huge fan, and now they've been given one star by the Sam Sifton in the NYT! The lunchtime set menu is a bit out of our price range, but the sliders are $10 on the nose! Clearly it's worth the splurge if you're so inclined...

Coffee & Doughnut Vendor Does Reddit Tell-All: If you're interested in some behind the scenes factoids about street vendors, check out this great IAMA coffee cart vendor Q&A on Reddit. Gothamist paraphrased some of the funniest bits, but we found the most interesting stuff to be money related. For example, did you know that if you own three carts and are willing to work from Midnight to Noon, six days a week, for 15 years, you might clear $6000 a month.
