Get $20 of Lunch Credit on LevelUp for Just $10: The new virtual wallet app, LevelUp, has been mentioned on ML several times in the past few weeks, and now you can get $20 of credit for $10 via Signpost. Several of our ML favorites seem to be adopting the technology, including Bian Dang and Schnitzel & Things (and we're hearing tomorrow there might be a deal w/ Eddie's Pizza Truck), so this may very well be the wave of the Midtown Lunch future.

Get $20 at Calista Superfoods for $10: This is a place I've been meaning to try but for whatever reason I haven't gotten around to it yet. LivingSocial is offering 50% off at Calista Superfoods (on 49th & 2nd Ave.), a recently opened spot offering "globally-inspired health food that nourishes the body, spirit, and mind." That statement doesn't normally appeal to us lunch'ers looking for deliciousness, but the menu actually looks pretty tasty.

Free Lunch at Guy & Gallard Alert: In almost 6 years of Midtown Lunching we have managed to completely avoid eating at Guy & Gallard, but that might change today. According to Twitter, if you download the Level Up app on your phone and use it at any Guy & Gallard location today, lunch is free. Freeloading iPhone and Android users, prepare to engage.

$2 (6-inch) Subs at Subway: Another fast food deal. Apologies. But since we're all saving up for holiday gifts, we sometimes have to take what we can get. Subway is offering $2 6-inch meatball or cold cut subs for the month of December, which it has dubbed Customer Appreciation Month. Cheapskates and haters of all things delicious and right, engage!

Just In Case You Eat at McDonald’s: I know, I know, we hate McDonald's. We are Midtown Lunch'ers, and McD's is the antithesis of a Midtown Lunch. We are the 99%, and McDonald's is an evil corporation. But in case you happen to be one of the billions served, here you go. LivingSocial is offering 50% off 5 Big Macs and 5 Large Fries. Thankfully, you don't have to use it all at once, so you can keep these vouchers around for those pesky hangover days. Or you can use it all at once. No judgements here.

60% off L’Ybane: The usually out of ML price range French-Mediterranean resturant L'Ybane, near Times Square, is within reach today on kgb deals, offering $10 for $25 of food, lunchtime only. The menu consists of small plates, sandwiches, and entrees, most of which seem to be under $25. If you've been here, let us know in the comments if it's a good deal!

Food Truck Revenues Are Down 70%: Crain's has a sad but refreshingly honest bit of reporting about food trucks on their website this week. The current food truck climate in NYC has seen revenue at some trucks down almost 70% as the New York Food Truck Association has been working on proposals with the city to help find a viable solution. Hopefully this will help limit the number of new trucks hitting the scene, something that has to happen for the current crop of trucks to survive.
