Get $20 at Calista Superfoods for $10
This is a place I’ve been meaning to try but for whatever reason I haven’t gotten around to it yet. LivingSocial is offering 50% off at Calista Superfoods (on 49th & 2nd Ave.), a recently opened spot offering “globally-inspired health food that nourishes the body, spirit, and mind.” That statement doesn’t normally appeal to us lunch’ers looking for deliciousness, but the menu actually looks pretty tasty.

I have to chime in to disagree with ceh.
I’ve been to Calista’s maybe 15 times since someone mentioned it on this site a few months ago. They have tasty, healthy offerings that are reasonably priced. And the guys that work the counter are extremely nice and helpful. They make fantastic smoothies, too, although those are a bit expensive. I always get one of their wraps and I’ve never been disappointed.
they’ve been around for a while…ordered from seamlessweb about a year ago and both times the foods did not impress. Unfortunately I don’t quite remember what I ordered the second time, but the first was the calista burger with bison – dry and definitely not tasty. good health burger on 53rd b/w 2 and 3 is a better alternative for quasi-health food.
