Dessert Truck Officially Belongs to the LES
It’s official… the Dessert Truck, which was closed by the city a few months ago over permit issues, is opening a brick and mortar store at 6 Clinton St. on the Lower East Side. I was going to take solace in that fact that we can still get their Chocolate Bread pudding at the RS Hotel, but they’ve now stopped doing that as well. Bummer.

I wonder if we’ll see more Truck-to-brick conversions.
Truck is a great way to build word of mouth. Truck all summer, open the doors in the fall. Sounds like a business plan. Looking at you banker cupcake guy.

Mike, it wouldnt surprise me in the least. I think the schnitz guys would do well in a B&M. Not sure if Cravings can since (supposedly/apparently) there offerings are pretty common in chinatown.
The only problem I can think of is I doubt any of them could do that in midtown due to the prices. Hopefully if they do decide to open up a B&M they’d keep their carts as well.

Sorry Zach!
(good news for me though)
