Free Expensive Salami Alert
We’re hearing from the good folks over at Murray’s Salami, in the Grand Central Terminal Market, that they will be giving out free samples of Jamón Ibérico de Bellota on Thursday November 13th (tomorrow) from 3 to 7 p.m. I’m sure the samples will be small, but at $100 a pound, I’ll take whatever they’re willing to give.

Yeah it was pretty fantastic, but I don’t think I’m enough of a connoisseur to justify buying a pound.

tasty, yes, but hard to justify paying a multiple over serrano (at least to this unrefined palate)

My husband’s salami is a phoney. He can barely suffice a snack let alone a meal with it. I believe that all men eventually come to this crossroads. Instead of salami we now just play hearts till the NBC evening news is done. Thank the lord I ordered a wife’s helper one night while watching the Lifetime Network. Purple throbber and I are getting along just fine. The mind bending O’s are incredible.
Now I could use some of that salami. I want to nibble on it till the juice runs down my chin.
It tasted like really good quality prosciutto, but not worth 100 dollars a pound. Ask the guy if its prosciutto and watch his reaction.
