3rd Ave. Blarney Has “Best Food”: The blog NY Drinker visited the five remaining New York City Blarney Stones and declared the one on 3rd Ave. btw. 45+46th as having the "best food" and being the "most Irish". The 3rd Ave location is obviously our fave, but we've always been kind of curious about the one on 47th btw. 8+9th. (That location won "oldest crowd".) [via Eater]

Thai Ice Coffee Popsicle?: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Schnitzel is on 46th, Wafels is on 52nd, Cupcake Stop is in the Flatiron, Papa Perrone is off, Goodburger & Tri Tip Grill both have special deals, and Rickshaw is on 52nd with a new line of frozen popsicles in flavors like thai iced coffee, mango lassi, and calamansi.

Frappuccino Happy Hour?: A little tip for all cheapo ice coffee drinkers: all this week Starbucks will be selling their Frappuccino's at half price from 3-5pm. Of course 'wichcraft has been doing this same thing for over a year now, daily from 3-6pm. I suppose it's a good deal, but if they really want to call it a happy hour, they'd throw some rum in there or something.

Argo Tea is Now Open: Broadway btw. 58+59th is becoming quite the hotbed of activity.  Joining the 18 month old AQ Kafe, Grom opened on Friday and according to Lunch'er "MikeyMike" Chicago based Argo Tea is open as of this morning. If you go, tell contributor Amy C. we said hi.  We're assuming she'll be there...

Brownies and Riceballs: On the ML Twitter Tracker today... Rickshaw is on 46th, Cupcakes is on 52nd, Frites N Meats is trying out 48th, the Dutchy is on 51st, and get 20% off at Goodburger today and tomorrow.  Also it's not posted yet, but the Treats Truck will be parked on 55th btw. Park+Lex next to the Papa Perrone Truck.

Has Anybody Seen My Green Cooler?: Just a quick public service announcement to everyone who eats lunch in Midtown, tourists and residents alike... please don't leave your coolers or empty lunch bags or bags of drinks on the streets of Midtown. It kind of makes people go bonkers.

Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts: Still haven't gotten a gift for your mom? Yummy in the City posted about the Mother's Day specials available at the Grand Central Terminal Market, and we hear that Macaron Cafe (on 36th btw. B'way+7th) has some nicely put together macaron assortments that your mom might really like.  Any other ideas for your fellow procrastinators? Put 'em in the comments.
