New-School Vendor Parking Spot Throwdown: Apparently there were some words (and possibly schnitzel throwing) between the Frites N Meats and Schnitzel & Things trucks on Monday over a parking spot at Water & Broad streets. Vadim from Frites N Meats fired off a lengthy blog post, saying that the Schnitzel & Things truck tried to take their spot on Monday, instead of Tuesday when they're usually there. And now Oleg from the Schnitzel truck has weighed in with his side of the story. Sea Creatures Meet A Tasty End At Terrace Fish & Chip

If you assumed as I did that there was no cheapskate place downtown focusing on creatures of the deep, you probably haven’t been to Terrace Fish & Chip (on Fulton St., between Nassau and Dutch). Texas Rotisserie Is a Comfort Food Paradise

On a particularly cool and rainy day, I was in the mood for something meaty and hearty. In other words, I wanted some good old-fashioned comfort food. That was how I ended up at Texas Rotisserie & Grill on Fulton Street – where you can get a gut bomb or a marginally “healthy” meal squarely in the Midtown Luncher price range. Read more »
