Cer Te Launches The Count of Stonington and Ravio-Boiga in June

It’s a new month and that means new sandwich specials at both Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) and Pizza by Cer Te (on 56th btw. Park+Lex)! Cer Te’s getting their summer lobster fix on early with lobster salad on a sweet and savory french toast (whoa) to make for the Count of Stonington. But the one that I’m most excited about is Pizza By Cer Te’s new ravioli burger.  What’s a ravioli burger you ask?  Try a jumbo meatball sandwiched between two house made raviolis.  Done and done.  Early adopters, let us know what you think in the comments.

A Look at Certe’s Chip and Crab Dip, May’s Sandwich of the Month

Earlier this month, we reported news of Certe’s latest sandwich of the month, the Chip and Crab Dip. There’s not a whole lot to this one – it’s ale battered soft shell crab with bibb lettuce on a potato roll. It’s served with some potato chips, hot sauce, and a tasty remoulade sauce on the side.

Certe’s New ‘This Little Piggy’ Sandwich is No Joke

On Tuesday, we announced Certe’s latest sandwich of the month, This Little Piggy. I was intrigued enough by the description to stop by and check it out because I don’t think I’d ever eaten a sandwich on a waffle before, yet alone one encrusted with cheese.  To say this “sandwich” is an interesting one would be a huge understatement.

This Little Piggy Went To Certe For Their April Sandwich: New month, new Certe sammie. The "This Little Piggy" sounds like a doozy -- it includes Mount Mansfield maple glazed pork belly, Millport Dairy Farms cheddar crusted rosemary waffle and peppercress (which is sort of like water cress in flavor). Woah. Early adopters, tell us how it is in the comments!

Cer Te Launches New March Sandwich and Pizza: A new month means new specials at Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) and Pizza by Cer Te (on 56th btw. Park+Lex).  The "Spring Ahead" sandwich features leg of lamb, a smoked paprika aoli, fried asparagus ribbons, and mint marmalade, on a garlic baguette. The "Spring Ahead" pizza will have spicy lamb meatballs, fava beans, ricotta, and cherry tomatoes.  Both will be available starting tomorrow (3/5).

Cer Te Celebrating Fat Tuesday w/ Specials

Every Tuesday is Fat Tuesday for some of us, but today it’s the actual Fat Tuesday… and to celebrate Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) has got some specials planned just for today.  As you can see from their flyer they’re planning to have chicken etouffee ($11.25), dirty rice as a side ($3.95), shrimp gumbo as a soup ($5.20) and a po’ boy dip ($9.95). What’s in that, you might be asking?  Try braised beef, caramelized peppers and onions, gruyere, mustard, and pickles on a garlic baguette.  Of course it comes with au jus on the side.  I highly doubt it will transport you to Mother’s, but it’ll do.

Cer Te’s New Gluten Free Chocolate Cookie is Kind of Amazing

Pizza by Cer Te

Certe (55th btw 5th+6th) and Pizza by Certe (56th btw Park+Lex) are great go-to for savory options, but they aren’t slacking when it comes to picking up an afternoon treat. Their latest sweet is a Chocolate Cherry Pecan Lizardi and what’s wonderful about it is that your gluten-free coworkers can get in on the action!
