When Can We Expect the “Schnitzel Down”?

You know what would make these two deliciously fried cutlets even better? Bacon! And Cheese! Maybe the Schnitzel & Things Truck will take a cue from KFC and introduce a Schnitzel Down: Two crispy slabs of veal with cheese and salty bacon in between. I say if they are going to be accused of being a terrorist threat, they might as well go all the way!

How about a Mamacita Down? One Mamacita, tarred with melted cheese and feathered with bacon strips. With Yucatero.

I would love to try the shnitzel down…provided it was reasonably priced. I have yet to hit the KFC one—it looks kind of gross to me. But I will suffer soon enough.

I’m waiting to go eat the DD with friends since they waited for me to go tackle it.

Yeah, the Double Down was ok, but the Schnitz Down would totally blow it away. You then should get Sifton to try it, Schnitzel Truck!!

Maybe the Schnitzel Down can be stuffed with a potato side. Either the austrian potato salad or the fries. :P
I wouldn’t mind seeing home fries or perhaps mashed potatoes smeared on.As for the sauce, they have numerous condiments. One of them should work with the Schnitzel Down.

They can definitely top the Double Down.
Perhaps a schnitz burger with two pork schnitzels as the bun. Or a brat and fries stuffed into a pork schnitzel as the roll. Be creative.

i had teh KFC beast yesterday…wasnt terrible…just super messy to eat.
it looks perfect just like that. I would like to see some chorizo mashed potatoes served with that though.
