Will the Hyatt’s New Market Be ML Friendly?
It’s surprising how many blogs seem super excited about Market, the new takeout place in the Grand Hyatt (on 42nd btw. Park+Lex). We’re a little skeptical, but love the idea of getting Chikalicious and Macaron Cafe stuff near Grand Central. All the signs around the gated eatery say it’s opening today, so early adopters let us know how it is in the comments.

I went there for coffee and to see what else might interest me at 745am. It wasn’t open. Security didn’t know when or if.

I’m hopeful they’ll appeal to the ML price range, but come on, this is a hotel lobby we’re talking about.

Speaking of Macaron Cafe. Signage is up now on 59th and Madison for a new branch. Its slightly out of Midtown Lunch bounds but right in the sweet spot for my office.
