It’s True… I’m Moving to Los Angeles
So I wanted to let you guys know that the rumors are true. I am moving to Los Angeles at the end of the month. But don’t worry, Midtown Lunch as you know it isn’t going anywhere. Much more on that once everything is finalized… but the more pertinent news is that we’ll be expanding to cover Downtown and Philadelphia full time at the end of this week (with one familiar face.) And, in a move that should surprise nobody, starting next month I’ll begin eating my way through the amazing Los Angeles lunch and street food scene for your viewing pleasure. (Although I will say here and now, even in L.A., the no salad rule still stands!)

zach, a million thank yous would not be enough for what you’ve done for us that work in midtown. you are going to love the food in LA and i look forward to reading those articles even if i cant consume any of it here in nyc. best of luck to you and your family. you will be missed dearly.

Figures. Zach leaves town while I’m out of town for three months in Bellevue, WA. Enjoy the change of location, Zach! We’ll continue to visit the site as long as you continue to give us yummy eating options week in and week out.

been out of the city for a few days and just saw this post! sooo sad to see you go and so happy for you at the same time! you opened my eyes to the masses that eat in midtown and we all will certainly miss you terribly. now you can enjoy the phenomenon that is ice cream trucks with nachos in LA … only the best wishes for you, the munchkin, and the whole fam!!

Btw, on a random note, Zach et al., has anyone tried the mexican taco/burrito cart on 50th btwn 6th and 7th lately? I noticed they were nominated for a Vendy back in ’05, and their food is delicious!
