The only NYC ‘Chicken Soup’ that I have ever had was Streit’s Matzo Ball & Soup Mix. It was made in New York City under the direction of Rabbi M. Soloveichik.
My wife whipped it for me because I had a head cold, and I refuse to take shots, and pills, and other concoctions from the ‘medical’ community.
Fortunately, I had lost my sense of taste, so the soup may have been wonderful, or maybe not.
I will never know. But, alas, I DID survive the head cold.
