At Lunch Now: Cyndi Lauper and Sharon Osbourne Are Working The Lunch Shift At Burger Heaven
Just got word that from now until 2pm future Celebrity Apprentice contestants Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, and WWE Diva Maria are all working the lunch shift at the Burger Heaven on 62nd and Lexington. Not sure if you can sit or just take burgers to go, but the lines are already forming and their phone has been re-routed to a different Burger Heaven location where they have they no idea what’s going on. Thankfully Midtown Lunch’er Scott is sending us updates from the line (including the photo above.) As soon as he finds out what’s going on, he’ll hopefully let us know… or you can throw caution to the wind and just head over now!

11:44 Scott has also sent word that Cyndi and Sharon designed the menu being served. He ordered the “Tenacious Burger”. One can only hope that there is a Captain Lou Albano tribute burger!
12:00 Another Update from Lunch’er Scott: “Sharon is the host and taking pix”
That actually looks like Siriux/XM DJ Jose Mangin (a former co-worker of mine.) If it is him, that’s the second time he’s been on Midtown Lunch. (He’s a big Arby’s fan…)
12:15 But wait… there’s more. Apparently Bret Michaels is at the Burger Heaven on 53rd btw. Mad+5th!? Possibly along with Chef Curtis Stone? And the burgers may or may not cost $100?
12:20pm Update From Lunch’er Scott: The burgers at the Lexington location are “$25. But I gave a $300 tip to cyndi Lauper.” Amazing. I guess it is for charity.

That’s funny. I had lunch there last week (62nd & Lex location). Actually forced into it (long story). The burger was dry and nasty. You wouldn’t get me back in there on a bet.

I love Cyndi Lauper but would I stand in the cold to have her hand me a burger? Maybe if she were wearing a Shake Shack uniform instead of Hamburger Heaven.
