Midtown Snapshots: Sam’s House Cafe is Selling Your Dong

Sorry, my still-stuck-in-junior-high sense of humor couldn’t resist posting this one… this sign at Sam’s House Cafe (formerly Bagelfeller on 48th btw. 5+6th) made me laugh out loud yesterday. Is that so wrong? (Apparently this is technically not a mis-spelling either.)

Is juvenile humor the reason Hostess changed the name Ding Dongs to King Dons?

Quite frankly I am appalled at this grotesque display of childish antics. Potty mouths, all of you. Spankings all around.

The flavor, of course, was “Pork”

    re: “technicall not a mis-spelling”
The person who wrote the sign may be Korean-American since that is how it’s pronounced in Korean – “u-dong” (or rather oo-dong) versus “u-don” in Japanese.

U dong goes great with salty balls and bearded clam. Cherry pie for desert, of course. All washed back with a gin and fresca or five.

Isn’t Miss Spelling the daughter of TV producer Aaron Spelling? She has a great rack. Of spices.
