Other Things I Ate This Week: Live Seafood & Nutella Cannoli

I don’t even usually like cannolis, but a sugar craving led me to Cafe Crema in the Italian Market for a chocolate and nutella cannoli that blew my mind.

At Imli Indian Kitchen on E Passyunk, I was really impressed by their butter naan. Chicken tikka and chicken thigh kebabs are other good choices.

A Balanced Act at Herban Quality Eats

Herban Quality Eats opened two months ago in University City, offering healthy fast food that tops out at $12 a platter.  The concept was birthed from Wharton Business School grads and cultivated at the Dorrance H. Hamilton Center for Culinary Enterprises- now I’ve heard some stereotypes about Wharton folks, but this idea is admirable and fills a lunch time gap for easy, fast, healthy, non cardboard.

That Thickness At Square Pie

I had some glorius pork belly at Cochon and was sad to see it go, but the same owners re- opened a new concept in its place- with lunch hours! The menu is small, just a handful of sides, pizzas, pastas, and sides.
