A Cart On Broadway Serves Greek Food, Sweets

If you’ve walked down Broadway by Trinity Church, you may have noticed a blue cart selling things like baklava and other sweets, along with Greek salad and chicken and gyro sandwiches. Lunch’er blueprintu told us about the cart when answering profiled lunch’er Dan’s question of where he could find Greek food. The cart’s not always there, but they were yesterday when I walked by. Everything seems reasonably priced, and ideal for an afternoon snack or light lunch. A look at the menu is straight ahead.

Have any of you tried food from this cart? One word of warning: It seems the Occupy Wall St. folks have taken up residence on the sidewalk in front of the cart and church, so you’ll have to dodge people sleeping and cardboard signs to get your Greek food fix.

  • I want to try her food again. She was so nice. The spinach pie was good. But sadly the greek salad was not. The feta lacked flavor. And the dressing was a strong white vinegar that ovepowered most of the rest of the ingredients. But I want to see if maybe it was a fluke bc I am pulling for her cart to be a success.
