The Infamous Bourbon Burger Is In The FiDi: Frites N Meats is parked on Water today with its Maker's Mark burger, according to the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker. Elsewhere, Eddie's Pizza cart is back on Greenwich while the truck is on Varick, and Sweetery and Wall St. Burgers are on Hudson. La Cense is parked on Wall.

No Eddie’s Pizza Today: You can thank the never-ending rain for the Eddie's Pizza cart in Tribeca for sitting today out. Elsewhere on the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker... Korilla is on Varick (with no chicken) but won't be ready until 12:30, Mexicue is on Water, Kimchi Taco is on Hudson and Souvlaki GR is at Old Slip.

My first experience with the Chinese food at Goodies on Fulton St. (at Gold) was a great one so when the craving for noodle soup hit the other day I knew exactly where I was going. The hard part once I got there was deciding which kind to get, and then whether to get noodles or rice cakes in it. Thankfully the woman who’s always manning the tiny dining room had some time on her hands as the place was empty due to the torrential rain outside. When asked, she confirmed that this is indeed the same Goodies that used to be in Chinatown and based upon my second go-round with their food it’s definitely our gain.

Ribeye Cheesesteak Melt At Gorilla Cheese: I guess we all might as well get used to the rain, as it looks like most of the food trucks have. On today's ML Downtown Twitter Tracker... Big D's and Frites N Meats are on Hudson, Gorilla Cheese has a special melt involving steak, La Cense is on Wall and Bian Dang is at Coenties Slip. Bistro Truck is ready to go on Water St., and San Luis Tacos is back on Front St.

There are so many pizza places downtown that I haven’t even begun to chip away at eating at all of them. While walking down Cedar St. between William and Pearl the other day I noticed a pizza place called Liberatos next to Pita Press and after deciding to go inside to take a look, couldn’t resist getting a couple of slices for research purposes. What I found was some decent pizza, and a great foundation.

Reminder: Stuzzicheria’s Sandwich Nook Opens Today: Just in case you forgot over the long weekend, the sandwich shop at Stuzzicheria called Pane Panelle opens for lunch today on Church St. (at Walker). You can get a rundown of what's on offer over here, and be warned that if you're looking for a traditional Sicilian spleen sandwich, you'll be getting tongue instead.
