Today is National Holiday in Belgium, and to celebrate Wafels & Dinges will be giving out free tastings of their newest ice cream flavor, Belgian Madness. The ice cream is made with honey, lemon and Hoegaarden beer and while they’ve been serving it for a few weeks now, today is the official launch day. Plus between Noon and 1pm you can get a free cone of the stuff (or you can get it as a gratis topping on a waffle) at all their carts and trucks. The truck should be parked on 46th between 5th and 6th (if they don’t get shooed by the cops like last week) and they have a cart on 40th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. E & E Grill Offering Free Coffee This Morning: E&E Grill House, the new steak place on 49th btw. B'way+8th, is launching their new grab and go coffee program this morning and to celebrate they're giving away free cups of Barrington Roasters coffee to their first 1,000 customers before 10am all day long. They're not open for lunch yet, and we're doubtful their lunch menu will be in the ML price range, but we'll take some free coffee! Freeloaders engage.

Free Slurpee Alert: 7-11 is celebrating their 84th Birthday (on 7/11, get it!?) today by giving away free slurpees at all locations. In Midtown we have two locations: one on 42nd btw. 8+9th and one on 8th btw. 36+37th. Freeloaders, engage.

Free Thai Iced Tea Alert: Now through the end of July anybody who buys a bundle- that's one main and one side- from Dee Daa Balanced Thai (on 44th btw Lex+3rd) will receive a free iced tea of their choice. Choices include Rosella, Lemongrass, Bael Fruit and traditional Thai Iced Tea.

Wimbledon begins today, and the annual tradition of having a bunch of nonsense fill Rock Center continues. The one good thing? Free strawberries and cream! Get yours daily from 11am to 5pm. [via NewYorkology]

It’s National Ice Tea Day (who knew!?) and to celebrate Snapple has partnered with a bunch of food trucks to hand out free lunch and free Snapple all over NYC. Here in Midtown there are three trucks participating in the promotion… Rickshaw Dumpling (on 45th & 6th), Schnitzel & Things (on 52nd & Lex) and Bian Dang which will be somewhere in Midtown East is on 55th btw. Free Hot Dog Alert: This just in... the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is parked on 45th and Broadway handing out free hot dogs. Try not to look too excited, get up slowly from your desk, move calmly towards the nearest exit, and once your feet hit the pavement... run like the wind! Not sure how long they'll be there... (we're hearing 1pm?)
