Treats Truck Brings Back Dessert Nachos Tomorrow for the Food Network
Remember the dessert nachos that the Treats Truck served during the “This is Why Your Fat” scavenger hunt through Midtown back in October? Well, it looks like it caught the eye of the Food Network! Tomorrow the Food Network will be hanging out with the Treats Truck all day long, and they want their fans to come out and be a part of the show (or not, if you just want treats.) Kim will be serving two of her famous specials (Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes & Dessert Nachos) plus a news special: Kitchen Sink Crispy Squares, as well as all their regular treats. Plus, when you get one of the featured specials, she’ll throw in an extra cookie on the house! The truck will be at their regular Tuesday spot (38th & 5th Ave), but will begin dishing out the sweets a little later from 2 or 2:30 and stay open until 5 or 5:30.

Sounds delicious! I’ll be there. By the way, I believe that the “Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes” are called Conecakes at the Treats Truck…if you haven’t tried one, they are a great twist on the usual cupcake.

I ordered them for my superbowl party. These things are amazing. It’s what they serve in heaven next to the Cinnabon.

I think you mean Thursday right? They are usually there Thursday- but I went to check a few minutes ago- Treats Truck is definitely not there today.

They said they’d be there at 2 or 2:30… what with the camera crew they maybe running late.

I passed by around 6:30pm yesterday and they were still filming. Too bad no dessert nachos by then. Still plenty of cone cupcakes but I bought an espresso and an peanut butter brownie. There were also two young ladies handing out free flowers to people. ;P
……I am so upset that I will be missing this because of work. Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!
