Free Soup Alert
We on this blog aren’t known to be huge fans of Hale & Hearty, but FREE soup is another story. In honor of their new store at 213 west 40th street, they’re giving away soup today from 12 to 2 p.m. (while supplies last), according to Twitter. Freeloaders, engage!

Completing the soup trifecta is all well and good, but just a heads-up to the freeloaders en route: if you go, at least do yourself a favor and get the gazpacho. It’s decent enough if you like gazpacho. Not the world’s greatest by any means but the best of what they have if you get it.
Here’s hoping the free soup isn’t just a glorified thimble.
