Win a Tasting Menu For Two at Shilla
Shilla, the Korean restaurant on 32nd btw. B’way+5th that has been known to offer $5 and $6 take out lunch specials, has been doing a little PR lately… inviting bloggers to come sample food for free so they’ll write about it. Their sit down lunch specials are $9.95-$14.95 and include kimchi jjigae, gop dol (a dolsot bi bim bap sounding kind of thing shown on the left), plus a galbi box for $11.95. As good as it looks– we here at ML don’t accept special free meals from the places we write about, but we’ll gladly give the free food to you! Shilla has agreed to let us give away the free tasting menu to one lucky Midtown Lunch’er and a guest. Just comment below and let us know why you should be the one, and you’re entered to win. I love korean food. There is nothing better than a warm bowl of rice and kimchee. Dribble a little sesame seed oil, and you got heaven.

Let me tell you, Midtown Lunch, what I’m going to do tp that free plate of food. I’m simply going to dominate it. When I go to Korean BBQ spots, the waiters know to be worried about how much I am going to eat. Its actually scary. What I am going to do that free plate of food is what Robert Downey Jr. used to a bag of “contraband” circa 1997, devour it, enjoy it, love it. Except I am not going to rehab for it. Never again. Then I am going to dismantle the septic tanks of Midtown Manhattan and give my coworkers something to chat about for years to come. It will be EPIC.
hahah Im kinda messing around, but I would really enjoy this food and from what it looks like, my day is boring enough for me to put more effort into my comment then the rest of these people. That should count for something….dont be delusional, Midtown Lunch, pick me.
