Where To Lunch For Cinco de Mayo
So, if Japanese curry isn’t your thing and a Cinco de Mayo pizza sounds too weird there are still plenty of straight up Mexican options in Midtown to partake in today. Eating Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo is kind of cliched, but we’re not above using it as an excuse to chow down at one of our favorite taco spots for lunch. Here’s a list of our favorites…
- Tongue tacos or a hurache from the El Rey Del Sabor Carts (60th and 3rd, 49th and Park, & 43rd and 6th)
- Chile Relleno Tacos from Las Poblanitas (39th btw. 8+9th)
- Alambre burrito at Pampano Taqueria (on 3rd btw. 49+50th)
- Sopes or mole from La Rosita (on 47th btw. 9+10th)
- Tacos from Tehuitzingo (on 9th btw. 47+48th)
- Chorizo taco from El Camioncito Truck (on 31st and 7th Ave.)
- Tamales from the Tamale Lady in front of the Mexican Embassy (on 39th btw. Mad+Park)
Got a favorite that we missed? Feel free to put it in the comments…
