Free Samples at Macy’s?
According to Time Out New York the Macy’s in Herald Square has cooking demos in their cellar every Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm where you end up getting free food at the end. We can’t imagine it’s as filling as the free samples crawl Lunch’er Jeremy put together for us a few years ago, but we suppose it could be good. Has anybody checked this out? Yeah, I wouldn’t wait around for freebies since their demos are usually completely swamped with tourists. Not worth it.

I do not wait in line for anything.
It’s really hit or miss. Most of the time you end up waiting around and all they have are crackers and maybe some cheese. Nowhere near a filling lunch.
