Every Tuesday I turn over the site to a different Midtown Lunch’er for his or her recommendations for the best lunch in Midtown. This week it’s Anthony, an IT man who wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

Favorite Kind of Food: Indian / Spanish. Anything spicy.
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Chipotle
Favorite Place(s) to Eat Lunch in Midtown: Chicken and lamb over basmati rice with extra white and hot from Adham’s (on 40th & 7th), Margon on 46th btw. 5+6th (Cubans are amazing) also all of their daily hot dishes are great, and Abitino’s (on 40th and 7th) has a good spinach slice
“Go-To” Lunch Place You and Your Coworkers Eat at Too Often? Sushi Deli Box on 39th between 5th and 6th. This place has great prices and amazing sandwiches. The sushi is always fresh and their udon soups are good.
Place(s) you discovered thanks to Midtown Lunch? Me and a few co-workers prowl this website everyday looking for new places to eat. Every place we try from midtownlunch.com is amazing.
If you could work anywhere (just because of the lunch) where would it be and why? There is nowhere better than midtown for lunch. Food is cheap and good.
Is there anything you’d like to ask the Midtown Lunch readers? Nothing to ask but I do have some information. After 8PM on 28th and Madison there is a yellow truck that serves chicken and rice. This is the best chicken and rice place I have ever had.

I like how he is chugging the hot sauce. Very Maddox! And yes, the yellow truck is the truck of convenience for me–since it is across the street from my building. However, I’ve stayed away for a while though from all street meat. Haven’t had street meat since my own streetmeatpalooza tour back in late November…Needed to take a break….Ate it too much and got temporarily sick of it LOL!

I’m tired of Little Morocco. I don’t think I want it anymore. HAHA. I had it for dinner on Saturday and it really didn’t hit the spot. Maybe I overdid their hot sauce too. Maybe it was the lack of beans and fries too. Oh well. I will try the 28-Mad palce when I get a chance to.

I had Little Morocco as part of my last tour of 2009…along with Kwik Meal, and of course, my home cart–all in one night (yes I had leftovers which I finished the next day, which I think is what killed my appetite for the stuff)….

mama – it sure is. I once gave out half-gallon bottles of that as gifts. It’s one of my top hot sauces (I rely on cholula when I want flavor as much as I want heat).

What Steve said…..the daytime truck comes around 10 and leaves at 5:30-6. Nightime truck is there by 7 latest, and is there until 4 or later most nights.

All I have to say is that not every place I’ve tried from midtownlunch.com has been amazing….
That truck on 28-Mad is probably the same one that Goats boasts about. Still haven’t had a chance to hit it up.
