Mexican Cart Expansion
El Rey del Sabor has added a third cart to their Mexican food empire. They’ve been flirting with the just out of ML bounds location on 28th Street and 6th Ave. for months now, but made it a permanent spot a few weeks ago. This should considered great news for lunchers in the southern part of Midtown. Their other two carts are located on 60th & 3rd, and 49th & 3rd.

so what is good at this cart?

At last! A 6th ave location for the fabled El Rey Sabor easily accessible by the multitude of 6th avenue trains!
Truly a great day for fans of $2 tacos and $5 huaraches!

Bah…still so far down.

ERdS needs to muscle into some of the halal territory here on 6th and the 50’s. I mean how many halal carts do we need on one corner?!

The Sopas with mole sauce are flippin’ awesome

Just finished a spicy pork hurache and chicken empanada.
both were good. spicy pork was extra spicy!
my only complaint was they didn’t have a menu up, just pictures of different offerings.
$8.50 total, not sure of the pricing, but no complaints.

Ah, now they’re almost in my ‘hood. Although I might still get my local mexi fix at the hole-in-the-wall at 23rd and 6th.

@stevenp, is that the same place that also sells pizza slices? I found that place by accident and had the sopes(?) there once, delicious!
