Here is the week in a life of a new Midtown office worker, who alotted themselves $50 for their first week of official lunching. Included in the week were ML faves Taki Sushi (on 46th btw. 5+6th), Kim’s Aunt Kitchen Cart (on 46th btw. 5+6th), Kwik Meal (on 45th & 6th), and Woorijip (on 32nd btw. 5th+B’way.)

  • Zach’s teachings have not been followed. Getting kimbap and rice in a buffet is not a best practice!

And who the hell gets summer hours nowadays?

  • A lot of Korean restaurants have lunch specials where you can eat a lot of food under $10. You have to spend a few more bucks on tips but I think it’s worth it because you get all the side dishes including grilled fish.
I never tried the Kwik Meal but $8 for a street cart food seems like a lot of money.
The fish sandwich looks really yummy…and cheap and i like that!
    I love Amy’s bread. =)

  • This isn’t worthy of a post!?!?!?
You mean she allowed herself $50 for the WHOLE WEEK? Oh my god, isn’t that what we all do every week? Isn’t that the point of ML?
I’ve never spent over $50 on lunch in one week in midtown, and often go to the above named carts/restaurants…
I guess I just fail to see how this is newsworthy.
Zach, you’re just happy that someone is giving you visual proof that they are listening to you right? :)

  • Zach, have you taken to calling this this blogger ‘Grasshopper’?

  • Yes, I would take on the ‘Grasshopper’ role if only his adorable son hasn’t taken it already.
