SW Midtown Rejoice: Frame Gourmet Eatery Opening Monday

The opening of giant generic Midtown delis is not usually excited news for Midtown Lunchers, but when you work on the far outskirts of Midtown it can become an epic event.  Those who work in the wasteland of the far west 30s (I’m looking at you Profiled Midtown Lunch’er Jamie) will be excited to hear that Frame Gourmet Eatery (on 33rd btw. 9+10th) will be opening on Monday.

Various food stations include a sushi bar with udon noodles and rice bowls, sandwiches, grilled paninis and wraps, as well as a toss-your-own-salad bar plus tasty desserts. Hot meal options include meats, grilled chicken, vegetables, Italian specialties and daily soups. There will be seating for about 20 guests.

Don’t think I’ll be making the trek out for this one, but if early adopters discover something delicious when they open next week (ala Cafe Duke’s Korean food station) feel free to post it in the comments.

ME TOO ME TOO!! can’t wait

  5. Haha thanks for the info, we pass it every day and have been wondering when it would open. Unfortunately, I will only have one week to enjoy it as next week is my last week at work…

  6. @ klaus, eek! That really might be my trademark, my friends could attest to that. I just really like food and feel that an open mouth helps aerate the flavors and enhance the taste. And for some reason people enjoy snapping pictures of that.

  7. Judging from the usual (commenting) suspects, you’ll hear no complaints about it on ML! Keep up the great work repping the far west…besides ML yours is the only blog I check regularly for new lunch options. I’m sure there are more gems on 9th waiting to be discovered by you and in turn enjoyed by me and the office mates:)

The same guy, who designed Silo Cafe (feat. in Julia Roberts’ movie, Duplicity) was in charge of the construction and management of Frame Gourmet. More info here:
