Tomorrow is Last Day for New Pizza Truck Before Vacation
From Papa Perrone’s Pizza Truck (on 55th btw. Mad+Park): ”We will be closed for vacation from July 31 to August 10th. We will be back on Monday August 11. Look for our latest creation- the Prosciutto balls.” I don’t know why, but there is something funny about that. There is however nothing funny about their artichoke pie. Delicious! (Although I’ve heard the pizza leaves a bit to be desired.)

The pizza is terrible. It’s lukewarm cardboard. The artichoke pie is tasty, mainly because of the pepperoni.

My Chicken Roll was pricey, but good, the guy has a good sauce. The meatballs were good too. Didn’t try the pizza however I did say It smelled quite good…. ofcourse taste and smell don’t always go hand in hand.

Been there twice. First time had a chicken roll and it was pretty good. Second time had a rice ball and got food poisoning. Not going back.
I thought the pizza was actually Jianetto’s the rest was his own creation.
