I wish I could unreservedly recommend Hershel’s, but it’s generally the most frustratingly, consistently inconsistent sandwich experience every time I eat there. Still, all these years later.

    Beck’s Train Wreck Po’Boy gets a thumbs-up from me.

I still need to get to Border Springs and Valley Shepherd. Absolutely no excuse on the latter, as they were one of my favorite NJ farmers’ market cheese vendors going back many, many years.

Funny thing, I have the (new-ish and expanded) Sizzling Woks menu right here next to me as I type! I think I’m heading back there for lunch tomorrow, for the first time in much too long…

  • Hershel’s stuff can be overly fatty sometimes, I agree

Hope you enjoyed Sizzling Woks, I had dinner there recently!
