Kyochon Delayed Again?: On Monday we reported that Kyochon would be opening its flagship branch (on 5th Ave. btw. 32+33rd) on Wednesday.  On Wednesday the New York Time reported it was opening on Friday.  Now Eater is saying that it's not opening until next week.  I think we'll still walk by today just to double check...

Burrito Protest?: From @jesuisuba: "A group of people from Oaxaca in midtown just walked by carrying 'Love Thy Burrito' signs chanting something about hotdogs." Uh, we would love your burritos if they bore even the slightest resemblance to the phenomenal cuisine of the state to which your name claims to represent. Till then, blotched free burrito coupons and promotional protests ain't going to cut it. Pass the dirty water dog, please.

Midtown Dumpling Fail: Is it just me or does it seem like Downtown and L.A. are ganging up on us today?  Chris posted about Fried Dumpling, where he downed a "jury duty lunch" of 25 (!?!) dumplings for $5.  And Zach posted about the brand new Dim Sum Truck in Los Angeles.  Uh...yeah... we get it. Dumplings in Midtown suck.  Leave us alone to sulk.

No Girl Scout Cookies For Midtown: Some people in the forums were asking about Girl Scout cookies recently... sadly, even though the Girl Scout National HQ is in Midtown their annual Manhattan sale is going to be on 23rd Street. Get all the details (plus more tax info then seems necessary for a $4 box of cookies) on Blondie and Brownie.

Who Doesn’t Like Free Steak?: Remember the Uncle Jack's Steakhouse free $25 gift card thing we linked to back in January? Well NYC Food Guy (aka Superman) turned over his food blog to some dude who tested it out and (surprise!) free steak is delicious.

Jamaican Rundown Special: The Jamaican Dutchy (on 51st and 7th) felt bad that they didn't make enough Jamaican rundown for everybody last week, so it's back today- and they've apparently made enough to last the entire lunch service. Craving fish in a Jamaican coconut sauce? Today is your big day...

Was That FloFab in the Window of Kyochon?: More news re: the new location of Kyochon, which is opening on 5th Ave. btw. 32+33rd on Wednesday.  Diner's Journal reports that it's going to be their flagship US location, and it cost $2 million to build! (It also solves the mystery of who was photographing platters of food inside the store yesterday.)

Help Barros Lucco Help Chile: Carlos, the owner of Barros Luco, checked in over the weekend to let us know that his family and the Chilean families of all his employees are all ok after last week's earthquake. Many are without electricity or water, but for the most part they are safe. If you'd like to help in some way, they've posted a list of organizations you can donate money to on their website.

Don’t Hold Your Breath For Cheap Wings: If the Cravings Truck was hoping the price of wings would come down from their traditional December highs, they might be waiting awhile. According to this article the price of chicken wings are still through the roof. [UPI via Grub Street]

Oh Glorious Day: The sun is shining down on the ML Twitter Tracker and all seems right in the world again... Schnitzel & Things is on 52nd, the Steak Truck is back after a mini vacation, Jiannetto's is on 47th, Cravings is on 48th with shumai, and Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) introduces their March sandwich today- the "Fall of Saigon", a buffalo chicken banh mi.
