Cer Te Launches New March Sandwich and Pizza: A new month means new specials at Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) and Pizza by Cer Te (on 56th btw. Park+Lex).  The "Spring Ahead" sandwich features leg of lamb, a smoked paprika aoli, fried asparagus ribbons, and mint marmalade, on a garlic baguette. The "Spring Ahead" pizza will have spicy lamb meatballs, fava beans, ricotta, and cherry tomatoes.  Both will be available starting tomorrow (3/5).

Vote For the Treats Truck’s Bakery: Voting for Time Out New York's annual Food & Drink Awards closes tomorrow. Most of the nominees are way too fancy for Midtown Lunch, but The Treats Truck Stop is nominated for best new bakery. Sure, this brick and mortar version of one of our favorite dessert trucks is located in Brooklyn, but it is filled with familiar cookies, brownies, and the butterscotch bar. Vote for it today here. The only thing that could make it better is if it was in Midtown!

Hibachi Heaven Is Now 3 Trucks Strong: Hibachi Heaven hit the streets last year to some mixed reviews, but they must be doing something right, because they have since launched a second truck, and just last week they added a third to their fleet! HH1, HH2 and HH3's locations can be found on their twitter account or the ML Twitter Tracker. We are always pleased to see our food truck friends succeed and grow their businesses, so welcome to Midtown, HH3!

30% Off BonChon Chicken: Korean fried chicken fans, take note: Google Offers has a 30% off BonChon Chicken deal today for the Midtown location on 2nd avenue between 50th and 51st streets. Read the details carefully -- you can't use the coupon on specials or on Fridays, which is kind of random. But 30% off at BonChon means that some of those non-lunch special entrees can be affordable! Although, generally speaking, we recommend you stick to the chicken.

Don’t Forget the Bryant Park Malaysian Fest is Today: A friendly reminder for fans of Malaysian cuisine... the Malaysian Winter Market we told you about last week is coming to Bryant Park today and tomorrow. Malaysian Kitchen NYC will be recreating the street markets of Penang and Kuala Lumpur with $8 dishes from Fatty Crab, Bentara, Laut, among others with demos from Hasni “Jeff” Ghazali of Bentara, Dale Talde of TALDE, and Zak Pelaccio of Fatty Crab. It opens for lunch at 11:30am and goes until the food runs out.
