4Food Opening Pushed Back to August: Bad news for those who can't wait to scoop stuff into the center of a burger, and then twitter about it. 4Food, the crazy new burger spot that was set to open this month on Madison & 40th, has postponed their opening until August 9th to "provide the best food & experience possible". We're guessing it's less to do with food, and more to do with the 220 foot "crowd sourcing" screen.

Yummy Yummy Falafel Bar is Now Open: For those of you who haven't had lunch yet, Lunch'er "Nicholas" (aka "hightemp") just let us know that the certified kosher Yummy Yummy Falafel Bar (on Lex btw. 55+56th) is now open for business... and a Yummy Yummy Deluxe with falafel, hummus, eggplant and cube salad is $6.99, and there is a free salad bar to add more fixins to your sandwich.

Free Pretzel Alert: Cinnabon might have been ousted from Rock Center by Jamba Juice, but not all is lost for people who like cinnamon and sugar coated breads... Auntie Annie's has opened a new location in the concourse, and to celebrate will give out free pretzels tomorrow (Friday, 6/25) from 10am to 3pm.

Free Pizza Alert: Two Boots will celebrate the launch of its new grandma style pie by giving away free slices at all of its locations at different times today. The Hell's Kitchen location (on 9th Ave.) will have free slices from 3-4pm, the Grand Central location from 4-5pm. [via I Dream of Pizza]

La Cense Burger Truck is Back!?: On the ML Twitter Tracker today...Papa Perrone is taking the day off today, but NYC Cravings is on 53rd, Eddie's Pizza Truck is on 52nd, Schnitzel & Things is on 48th with veal, Wafels and Dinges is on 46th, and the La Cense Burger Truck reveals the surprising news that they are returning.

Cinnabon Out, Jamba In at Rock Center: It's sad that we live in a world where smoothies win out over cinnamon buns don't you think? But alas there it is. The Cinnabon in the subway station below Rock Center is now closed and will be replaced by a Jamba Juice. Somehow we doubt piping in the smell of blended bananas and yogurt will be as enjoyable. Meatball & Fries Pizza!?: Today's Pizza by Cer Te (56th btw. Lex+Park) special is topped with crumbled meatballs, cheddar, and julienned potatoes- could be interesting, right?
