Tandoor Palace Has An Interesting Back Story: When I ate at Tandoor Palace on Fulton St. (at Gold) it seemed like a typical steam table Indian/Pakistani place, but it has more of a story than I thought. It's too bad I didn't order those mustard greens or the corn roti.

Because I just ate lunch from the newest branch of the mini-chain on Nassau St. at Ann (On a side note, my earlier guess at where Nicky's would be is actually Bread Factory Cafe). Behold The Korilla Korean BBQ Truck: There's a first look at the Korilla Korean BBQ Truck over on the midtown site, and the menu and prices look promising. No word on how the food at the preview actually tasted, but since they promised to come downtown, I guess we can find out for ourselves after they launch on Monday.

Bailey Pub & Brasserie: Possibly Worth Going Over ML Price Limit?: Lunch'er dbdtron wrote in to say that he tried Bailey Pub & Brasserie on William St. (at Pine) that opened a couple of weeks ago, and liked the burger he had. The burger is $12 with fries and the rest of the menu is over the $10 mark, but it sounds promising. Anyone else tried this place out?

Birdbath Bakery In Tribeca Now Open: If you are a fan of the sandwich/baked good combo for lunch, you might be interested in the latest addition to the growing chain of Birdbath Bakery that's opened on Church St. (at Thomas). It's the fourth location of the City Bakery offshoot and looks like it has some pretty great baked goods.
