Wafels, More Free Food On Twitter Tracker: In yet another way you can not pay for lunch today, there's free food from Sweetery and Korilla BBQ at Mulberry & Spring as part of CNET's pop-up in Soho. Elsewhere on the ML Downtown Twitter Tracker, Wafels & Dinges has a cart on Greenwich, GO Burger is at Water & Hanover Maiden Lane, and Rickshaw and Kimchi Taco are on Hudson. Mexucue and Souvlaki GR are at Old Slip.

Generic-looking deli Cafe Tomato on Fulton St. (nr. Broadway) still looks pretty generic, but they now have Korean food! I have never eaten here after an initial walk-through yielded nothing special, but this changes the game, especially since it’s a lot closer for those of us in the upper part of the Financial District than Cafe Hanover.

Eddie’s Pizza Cart Packing It In For The Winter: The Eddie's Pizza cart that's been on Greenwich & Duane for several months will only be there through Friday Thursday and then will take a hiatus until spring. Fans of their bar pies need not fear though as they will still be stopping downtown with their truck.

Did they have “the best street food downtown” as Ziaul said? That was up to my stomach to find out.

Just like UGG boots and being thankful for the gross heat from the subway trains, winter means the return of the Hot Soup cart to Wall St. I spotted it yesterday between William and Pearl streets which is about where it’s normally parked. It looks like the prices are up from last year to $5 for a medium and $6 for a large which is close to approaching Hale & Hearty territory.
