Blueberry Waffle Alert?: Thursday seems to be a good day to check out the ML Twitter Tracker...Street Sweets is hanging with the cast of Law & Order, so no macarellas today- but Schnitzel & Things is on 48th, Cravings is on 53rd, and Wafels & Dinges is on 45th with fresh blueberries!

Do I Look Fat in This?: Forgot to post this link before I left for L.A... ML friend James Boo came out to my last lunch at the Jamaican Dutchy last week, and posted about it on his blog The Eaten Path. He posted two photos of me, which looked at together somehow managed to make me look like a midget, and a gigantic fat slob, all in one post.

Big Gay Hooters Field Trip: Mamacita seemed to enjoy herself at the Midtown Hooters back in April, but she didn't have ice cream royalty with her! Serious Eats New York had as unbiased a meal as possible at Hooters last week with Bryan and Doug from the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, and they seemed to really enjoy the wings.

Custard Hot Chocolate: If you're planning on hitting up the new 99 cent pizza place (on 33rd btw. 5th+Madison) you might want to also swing by Spoon City (on 5th btw. 33+34th).  They're now serving "custard hot chocolate".

Duck Sandwich Sellout: It's been a hot minute since Midtown Lunchers have had access to a duck sandwich for under $10, and it showed at Cer Te (on 55th btw. 5+6th) yesterday. Their new Feburary sandwich special, the "Chubby Chinese Girl", sold out shortly after 1pm yesterday. Go early if you're hoping to score one today.

Another Burrito Deal: The burrito deals just keep on coming today.  Today's Groupon gets you any two burritos at Baja Fresh for $8.  And there are versions for both locations: the one on Broadway and 41st and the one on Lexington and 45th. You only have until Midnight tonight to purchase the deal...

Free Burrito Alert: The burrito deals just keep on coming today... It didn't sound like Mamacita loved the newly opened Oaxaca Grill (on 47th btw. Park+Lex), but what better way to see for yourself than with a free burrito. It looks like you can print out a free burrito coupon on their website, good from now through March. [via Eater]

Lunch Jealousy: It's not often that we Midtown'ers get jealous of places Downtown or in Philly, but you'd have to be dead to not feel small pangs reading the Downtown and Philly sections of ML today. Chris hit up this amazing looking Eritrean cart near City Hall, and Jamie's got the scoop on some pork belly w/ noodles in brown sauce in Philly's Chinatown.
