Lawrence is right about the drunken noodles at Topaz–great dish, and I think about $7 for lunch.

I found a great Thai restaurant yesterday called Pam Real Thai Encore. It’s on 9th Ave, which I know is 1 *tiny* block outside the Midtown Lunch zone. But, I promise you it’s worth the extra walk…most of the menu is well under $10, and the food is fantastic.

Judging by this flyer, which I spotted on a chimichurri truck in Washington Heights, the pizza-truck business has gone cold:

I haven’t seen it either. There’s one at 52nd or 51st and park now, I think.
Not a big loss as the pizza was mediocre and not cheap.
